Job description

A document that describes the contributions, duties, outcomes, responsibilities, and reporting relationships of a specific job.

Joint application development (JAD)

A development methodology that involves the client or end user in the design and development of an application, through a succession of collaborative workshops called JAD sessions. See also project management methodologies.

Journal blog

A blog in the form of a personal diary or journal. See also blog types.

JPG

(Pronounced "J-peg") Joint photographic experts group file format. See also bitmap graphics file formats.

Jump page ad

A pop-up window or animation page that directs the Internet user to a product or service.

Justified

Text aligned on both the left and right margins. Also called fully justified. See also alignment styles.
