Or, are you looking for a quick summary of technical communication? Consider reading about the value that technical communicators create and the standards they follow.
Use the Built-In Google Search
The easiest, simplest, and fastest way to navigate the TCBOK is by using the built-in Google search. Using keywords will speed up your search.
For example, try:
- Techniques, like “Usability Testing”
- Careers, like “Technical Illustrator”
- Styles, like “Minimalism”
- Development approaches, like “Agile Development”
The search will locate pages that feature your keywords.
Browse the Top-Level Headings
Use the top-level headings to explore! If you’re just looking to browse and find something new, then look to the top-level headings. They offer a general summary of the content contained in the TCBOK. Content is grouped into 10 top-level subjects, so explore what interests you most.
